Washi eggs are not a traditional Japanese craft but rather a creation of two crafts that were cleverly put together. The use of blown out eggs and the Japanese washi papers create beautiful individual art pieces. Washi eggs look best when displayed in groups inside a clear glass bowl but may also be used as ornaments or stand alone.
